Frairie

Hello,
Okay I am going to start with an apology first because I know I said I would be blogging my 'Tales for Tiny Tots' but then my English teacher gave us a project-to combine the characteristics of any four animals and make a new animal. I just finished mine and I thought it would be a nice topic to blog about.

So the animal I made is called a 'Frairie' and it is found in Dream County, Imagination Island and Magic Forest.  It  is a mixture of-
1) Ant=Its brain ie, its team spirit, strength and hard work.
2)Horse=Its nimble legs and speed.
3) Eagle=Its wings and sight.
4)Frog=Its amphibious skin.

See the myth about how it was formed goes like this-Once upon a time[not so faraway] a sorceress called Suzanni wanted a familiar. However she was dissatisfied with her choices and so she decided to make her own familiar. She mixed the characteristics of the horse, the ant,the eagle and the frog as she wanted a familiar which she could use  for travel on land, water and air and also one which was hardworking and strong. She made two as she did not want her familiar to be lonely. However the measure for the potion  was wrong and she made 13 which is why even now a colony of Frairies are 13 in number.

They live in 'Frawls' which have a sort of hole on the roof so that they can fly away and has a passage leading to a water body.

They are mainly used in Fairytopia for pursuing people, for races and for construction. They are also used for travel.

They are affectionate creatures who are very loyal. They are hardly ever found alone. The female is stronger and faster than the male due to which the head is always a female. A colony of them is called a gran of Frairies. It consists of 6 males and 7 females.

They lay eggs in January 13 which hatches on March 13. When a new Frairie [ a small Frairie is called a Frairette] is born the oldest female and male leaves the colony.

They are omnivorous.

Their population is just 13,369 but not because they are hunted down but because they lay only 1 egg a year.

That is all about Frairies for now. Hope you enjoyed it!
